PT Business Network Pte Ltd has been officially appointed in April 2025 as the sole distributor for Southeast Asia by Proteco Italy, the world’s leading manufacturer of Continuous Transpose Cable (CTC) machines. In parallel, Proteco has appointed Vertical Technologies as the exclusive distributor for the Indian market. Vertical Technologies is the partner and subsidiary of PT Business Network Pte Ltd.
CTC refers to a high-performance electrical conductor consisting of multiple enamelled rectangular wires arranged side by side and transposed continuously along the length of the cable. This precise transposition is achieved using Proteco's advanced CTC machines, which align, stack, and twist the individual wires into a compact, low-loss configuration. The CTC is then wrapped with insulation tape to complete the process. CTC is primarily used in high-power electrical equipment, especially in the windings of transformers and reactors, where it improves efficiency by minimising eddy current losses, enhancing cooling, and reducing hot spots. With this strategic appointment, PT Business Network and Vertical Technologies are poised to support the transformer manufacturing industry across their respective regions with the most advanced and reliable CTC production solutions available globally.
